Scituate, Massachusetts: This is the image that almost cost me a camera, lens and tripod. When I got to the beach, I set my tripod at a point that (I thought) was well out of reach of any wave. Well, I was wrong.Just after I shot this, the wave you see in the center of this image left me knee-deep in the Decembrrr Atlantic, holding my camera and tripod over my head. Almost a year later, the tripod legs still have sand in them, but I got my photo.
