Ram's Head Lighthouse - Portland, Maine - This photo is from one of the first trips I took specifically to take photographs. I had intended to shoot Portland Head Light - one of the most photographed lighthouses in the world, but the images were nothing special.Just as the sun went down ("park closes at sunset"), the moon came up and I was able to make this photo of Ram's Head Light. Special thanks to my dad on this one for distracting the park ranger who was trying to kick us out so I could make a few frames.
