Nubble Light - Cape Neddick - York, Maine - This was the first photo I shot during my trip to Nubble Light, and I wanted to try something different. It seems like all of my wedding and portrait work is shot at F/4 or wider, with a very shallow depth of field, and all of my landscapes are shot between F/8-F/11, with everything sharp and in focus.I hope this isn't different just for the sake of it, as different doesn't always equal better, nor does experimentation.This image was shot at F/2.8 and there's just something about the way the foreground rock stands out from the red and white lighthouse and blue water that gives it an almost three-dimensional quality to me.
